The History
Luca Faccinelli, born and raised in Chiuro in Valtellina, was captured by the world of wine late; his studies and degree, a period in the United States, a master’s degree in business communication, work with an important public relations estate. Then with the return to Valtellina, wine becomes more and more present, with a passion and curiosity that grow exponentially, until the decision to undertake the adventure of the profession of winemaker.
Terroir & Winery
The terraced vineyards are located at an altitude between 400 and 650m above sea level, on extreme slopes. Nebbiolo vines cling to shallow soil and are forced to harden to survive, which helps give the wines unique characteristics of elegance and tension. In addition to Nebbiolo, Luca also grows Rossola and Pignola, other typical varieties of the area.
