The History
The Lunae Bosoni winery is located on the border between Liguria and Tuscany, in the fertile region of Lunigiana. Founded by the sensitive and passionate Paolo Bosoni in 1966, the winery represents the continuation of a generations-old agricultural family tradition. Paolo focused his activity on viticulture, giving life to the Lunae brand, which takes its name from the ancient Roman colony that was founded here in honor of the goddess of the Moon.
Terroir & Winery
The Colli di Luni, located between the Gulf of La Spezia and the Apuan Alps, are home to vineyards that grow between hills and valleys, influenced by sea and mountain breezes. The vineyards of Cantine Lunae are small, no more than three hectares each, and the soils vary from gravelly on the hills to silt-clayey in the plains, allowing the production of wines with very different aromatic profiles.
