Historic estate from the Oltrepò Pavese, dating back to 1890. Since the early 2000s it has dedicated itself exclusively to the two vines Pinot Noir and Riesling, each expressed in purity from single plots, and transformed into different declinations.

The History

The estate has been active since 1890 with the cultivation of grapes; if already in the 1960s the current owner’s grandfather had used some rooms for the vinification of grapes, it was only in the 1990s with his grandson Gabriele Marchesi that the estate was renewed and the current phase began; Gabriele sets all the production on Pinot Noir and Riesling Renano, also renovating the premises and the old winery.

Terroir & Winery

The estate is located in the central Oltrepò, at 500 meters above sea level, in the vineyard area overlooked by the castle of the Balduino Counts; the entire current structure of the estate was designed for the processing of Pinot Noir and Riesling Renano, to which the estate dedicates all its work and various collateral projects.
