The History
Son of the vineyards, raised to the rhythm of the harvest and nature, Benjamin Choppin always knew he would become a winemaker. At the age of 23, once he finished his studies, he naturally returned to the Domaine to work alongside his father Maurice; his Champagnes are testimony to his talent, as well as the extraordinary terroir from which they come to life.
Terroir & Winery
The approach is completely natural: herbicides and insecticides have no place, but natural practices and certified organic substances in organic farming are used. The plots are surrounded by trees, meadows or flowering fallows to encourage biodiversity. Even the work in the winery is based on the same principles, with precise and essential interventions, without the use of oenological products, with spontaneous fermentations and without filtrations or clarifications.
