Olivier Chanzy

Olivier, son of the former owners of the Chanzy estate in Bouzeron, grows Pinot Noir and Chardonnay with which he offers around fifteen varieties of wine, of which the majority comes from the Côte Chalonnaise, with special attention to the Bouzeron and Crémant de Bourgogne appellations, which represent the roots of his childhood.

The History

Born in 1979 to a family of wine producers, and raised in Burgundy, after studying oenology and various experiences around the world, Olivier decided in 2013 to recover some abandoned vineyards in Meursault and create his own winery.

Terroir & Winery

Olivier uses low temperature winemaking techniques, followed by refinement in stainless steel or French oak barrels for 12 to 18 months, avoiding mechanical interventions such as filtration.
