The Petrelli winery is a family-run agricultural estate, not far from Carmiano, in the province of Lecce, which is dedicated exclusively to the production of grapes and its winemaking. During the Seventies the estate, previously dedicated to the cultivation of tobacco, began to produce grapes and, within a few years, the entire estate surface became an expanse of vines.

The History
Paolo Petrelli, a great lover of wine and its territory, founded the winery in 1984, with the completion of the transition from tobacco cultivation to vine cultivation. The estate immediately achieved its objective of producing high quality traditional wines and in 1999 the reins passed to his son Giovanni, now accompanied by his daughter Chiara, a young winemaker who, without departing from tradition, brings new ideas and a touch of modernity.
