Pheasant’s Tears

Pheasant’s Tears was founded by John Werdenmann, an American artist, and Gela Natalishvili, a Georgian vigneron. Together they created a project in which tradition, art, food and wine culture intersect and nourish each other. They have various plots of land in different terroirs of Georgia, and use only qvevri (traditional underground earthenware containers) for both fermentation and aging.
