Piazzo Comm. Armando

The Piazzo company was founded in the 1960s in San Rocco Seno d’Elvio, a small hamlet of Alba. Armando Piazzo and Gemma Veglia, both of peasant origins, decide to continue family traditions by investing in the Langhe, an area then little known for its food and wine excellence. In an era marked by the post-war agricultural crisis, described in Fenoglio’s La Malora, they found the strength and determination to found their company, transforming difficulties into an opportunity for growth and valorisation of the territory.
