The History
The winemaking history of the ancient Popphof Estate is more than four centuries long: wine was already being produced there in 1592. Since 1722 the estate has been owned by the Menz family, and is today led by Andreas Menz, a passionate winemaker and expert winery master with decades of experience behind him.
Terroir & Winery
Sunny slopes, optimal position of the vineyards and then great care and experience in winemaking and in the use of oak, produce authentic and expressive wines, strong in the tradition that the family has carried on for 300 years.
