Ramaz Nikoladze

Ramaz Nikoladze founded his winery in 2007, taking over the historic family property in Nakhshirghele, in the Imereti region; he has been a key figure in the Georgian artisan wine scene, mentoring and supporting many young winemakers, and connecting Georgia with European markets. He owns less than one hectare of vineyard in which he organically cultivates the two native varieties Tsitska and Tsolikouri, working them naturally according to ancient local tradition.
