It is a family project born in Pouilly-sur-Loire, dedicated to the production and promotion of wines made with Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Over time the winery has grown and is now an expressive representative of the various territories of the splendid Loire Valley.
Forty years ago the Saget family embarked on the mission to make Saget La Perrière a modern family business specializing in Loire wines. Jean-Louis gave the original impetus and his sons Arnaud and Laurent Saget now embody these values, passionately representing their vision of a winery recognized for the quality of its wines and the people who run it every day.
Its terroirs of exceptional quality and meticulous craftsmanship allow Domaine Saget to create wines that impeccably reflect the typicality of the Pouilly-Fumé and Pouilly-sur-Loire appellations. The winery’s wines are grown mainly on clayey-limestone soils of the Kimmeridgian phase and then mature for 6-8 months on the yeasts in stainless steel tanks to give complexity and structure.
