The History
Stéphane Coquillette’s winery is located in Chouilly, one of the most renowned villages of the Côte des Blancs. Passionate winemaker, Stéphane represents the fourth generation of the family that owns this splendid reality. For him, the art of the vignaron can only originate in the vineyards and in the care of the land, to continue with a careful harvest and culminate in winemaking and refinement.
Terroir & Winery
The winery owns vineyards in the famous Grand Cru villages of Chouilly and Ay, in the Première Crus of Cuis and Mareuil Sur Ay. Some of the most prestigious vineyards in these municipalities belong to Coquillette. The distinctive feature of the family style is the desire to fully bring out the aromas of the fruit and to give maximum delicacy to the cuvées. Stéphane is convinced that respect for the terroir, the soil, the vegetation and the environment is fundamental to producing excellent champagnes.
