The products of Triacca
The History
After decades spent investing in resources and experience, in 1950 the period of full growth arrived for the Triacca family. Following the growing demand from consumers for bottled wine, the bottling plant was built; new vineyards and a storage depot were also purchased. Now after over 125 years of family history, the fifth generation is fully integrating into the winery business.
Terroir & Winery
“La Gatta” in Bianzone is a former Dominican convent from the 16th century, immersed in 13 hectares of terraced vineyards. In addition to the vineyards surrounding the estate, Triacca owns several plots in the Valtellina area of Valgella, Sassella and Tirano. The vineyards are located at an altitude between 300 and 500m above sea level, immersed in the full Alpine climate that so characterizes these wines.
