Vaccaro

The success story of the Vaccaro company began in the 1970s, when Giacomo Vaccaro and his wife Caterina purchased a small estate in Salaparuta. Located near the historic Duca di Salaparuta estates, they quickly distinguished themselves for the quality of their grapes, so much so that in 1999 they decided to build their own winery and start autonomous wine production. A winning choice, which has led the company to grow to the point where it now owns over 80 hectares of vineyards distributed in three different locations. Located between 160 and 400 meters above sea level, these lands offer a variety of soils and microclimates ideal for the cultivation of Grillo, Nero d’Avola, Syrah and Merlot.
