Vinyer de la Ruca

Vinyer de la Ruca is the creation of Manuel Di Vecchi Staraz, a Florentine agronomist and professor at the University of Montpellier who abandoned teaching to become a winemaker. During his studies Manuel carried out a census of wild vines both in Italy and in France, which also took him through Banyuls-Sur-Mer, on the border with Spain; it was like a vision, and his career as a vigneron began in that extraordinary terroir between the sea and the mountains. In the meantime, together with two well-known winemaker friends, he follows the Tutti Frutti Ananas project.
