At the beginning of the Seventies, the brothers Roberto and Andrea Zeni had yet to complete their studies in Oenology in S. Michele all’Adige, when they made a first experiment: they tried to bottle a small batch of Teroldego Rotaliano, borrowed from their father Romano, for approximately one thousand bottles. So in 1975, after completing their studies, they officially founded the winery and the distillery. In 1988 the winery purchased Maso Nero, with twelve hectares of vineyard located on the Sorni hill, along the Wine Route. Today, during the generational transition, Rudy and Veronica, Roberto’s children, and Mattia, Andrea’s son, are in the winery.
