Description

Pure Aglianico from silty-clayey soils of volcanic origin. Manual harvest of selected grapes. Fermentation in steel tanks with long maceration on the skins. Malolactic fermentation in oak barriques. Aging in barriques for 18 months.

Tasting

Clear, dark ruby to the eye. Intense, complex, fine nose, berries (blackberry, cassis), liquorice, cherry, chocolate, balsamic notes (eucalyptus). On the palate soft, fresh, elegant, with silky tannins, persistent.

Ground first courses, grilled meats, semi-mature cheeses.
