Description

Harvesting is manual, carried out in the second half of September. Careful selection is made of the grapes in the vineyard, which are left to dry in boxes, placed in the fruttaio. Red wine vinification in contact with the skins for the entire fermentation, with two daily pump-overs and a delestage halfway through the process. Ageing takes place for one year in small wood and two years in large wood.

Tasting

Brilliant ruby red with garnet hints. Cherry and red berries stand out on the nose, although they do not conceal a floral undertone. The palate attacks with a delicate sweetness, followed by a slightly bitter note interwoven in the tannins and red fruits.

Pairings

An excellent meditation wine, at table it goes well with stews and braised meats.
