Annata Storica Capri Bianco DOC 2017

The only DOC wine produced and bottled on Capri. It expresses all the minerality of the island’s limestone rock and the savouriness of the surrounding sea, as well as the beautiful acidity stirred by the winds that blow through it. After being harvested by hand and a careful selection, the grapes are delicately worked in the press (soft pressing), the must obtained is left to ferment at a temperature of 16° and then refined in steel for the following 5 months. The wine is then bottled and marketed not before a further period of bottle ageing of 1 year.

Straw yellow colour. Clean, delicate nose of citrus fruits, aromatic herbs and white flowers. The palate is precise, in perfect continuity with the aromas, fresh, mineral, with a nice savoury finish.

Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with seafood dishes, such as sole a la mugnaia or spaghetti with prawns and courgettes
