“Balaxus” Alicante Toscana IGT 2014

Fermentation in 50 hl French oak barrels for 18 days. Maturation in 18 hl French oak barrels for at least 24 months. Bottle aging for a minimum of 9 months before being placed on the market. Vineyards cultivated in an extremely natural way, Native yeasts in the cellar, no fining, light and mechanical filtration, very little sulphur.

Garnet color, of pomegranate and cherries. The texture is detailed and bright, reflecting the volcanic quartz soil and cool, crisp evenings of the terroir in which it grows. Delicately floral, slightly spicy, elegant and ethereal scent in a complex and fine bouquet. Dry, medium-bodied taste, with well-balanced acidity. Harmonious, elegant, without evidence of hard tannins. A very pleasant aftertaste.

Cured meats, lamb, meats with delicately spiced sauces.
