Barolo Meriame DOCG 2018

Barolo Meriame originates from the prestigious Cru of the same name in the commune of Serralunga d’Alba, from soils rich in clay and limestone, planted in west and south-west exposure at an altitude between 230 and 360 metres above sea level. Fermented in steel, the wine matures about 24 months in tonneau followed by a few months in the bottle. No clarification or filtration.

Garnet red colour, hints of ripe fruit and field herbs. Elegant, powerful and complex palate with good balanced acidity and long persistence.

Game, meat dishes especially roasts or stews, strong mature cheeses, aubergines and mushrooms.
