Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 10%
The alcoholic fermentation lasts for 12/13 days at a controlled temperature of 28-29°C. After the racking, racking and malolactic fermentation phases, it is placed in medium/small capacity barrels for 12 months.
Intense ruby red color. On the nose it expresses good complexity, with hints of red and black fruit (cherry and blackberry), sweet spices, tobacco and liquorice. Dry, warm on the palate, with constantly evolving tannins. Elegant bodied wine with a strong and balanced personality. Pleasant persistence.
Perfect with roasted and grilled red meats, mature cheeses and pan-fried dishes.
