Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Annata Storica 2009

The grapes coming from the Vigna del Lamo are selected during the harvesting phase, destemmed and fermented with Native yeasts in steel and concrete tanks. The wine matures for at least 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels and in French oak tonneaux. This is then followed by refinement in the bottle for at least 4 months after bottling.

Ruby red color tending towards garnet, bright and transparent. Broad and rich nose, in which notes of plum and ripe morello cherry are enriched by spicy touches and balsamic suggestions. In the mouth it opens intense and noble, and the ripe, dense and complete tannin, invigorated by a well-balanced acidity, relaxes into a long and savory finish.
