“Cantalupo Anno Primo” Ghemme DOCG 2013

“First year” refers to the first vintage produced by the winery in 1974, when the family’s first Ghemme DOC was produced. The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The wine is then transferred to oak barrels where its 20-month maturation process ends. Before being put on the market, it rests in the bottle for a few months.
