Description

Hand-picked from the San Donato in Poggio vineyards; red wine vinification with slow fermentation on the skins in stainless steel. The wine ages for 12 months in large oak barrels and then ages for 6 months in bottle.

Tasting

Bright, light ruby red in color; a fine nose of cherry and dark flowers, with notes of strawberry and a light spice; an elegant and vibrant sip, mineral and persistent.

Meat-based appetizers, first courses with meat sauces, grilled meats, medium-aged cheeses.
