Sangiovese
Vinification in steel without temperature control; alcoholic fermentation in steel on the skins. The wine matures for 12 months in chestnut barrels and refines for a few months in the bottle.
Intense ruby red colour; nose of cherry, morello cherry, dark spices, undergrowth, red flowers and hints of wood; tasty sip, with well integrated tannins, good freshness.
Tuscan cured meats and croutons, panzanella, grilled and roasted meats, medium-aged cheeses.
