Sangiovese 95%, Malvasia Nera, Canaiolo and Colorino for the remaining 5%
At the end of the harvest, the best bunches are sent for fermentation, which takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26-30 °C, with maceration on the skins for approximately three weeks. The wine matures for 36 months in Allier French oak barrels, tonneaus and barriques and completes the refinement with a few months in the bottle.
Ruby red color with garnet reflections. Intense and elegant nose, of small red fruits and flowers, with notes of leather, tobacco, undergrowth and sweet spices. The sip is rich, broad and enveloping, with soft tannins that accompany the fruit in its complexity and long and persistent finish.
