Description

Harvest and selection by hand in the first half of September, destemming and followed by fermentation in steel. During maceration, pumping over and delestage take place; malolactic fermentation in steel. The wine ages in steel for 9 months and refines in bottle for 6 months.

Tasting

Ruby red color. On the nose evident fruity notes of plum and currant accompanied in the finish by hints of liquorice, pepper and toasted coffee.

Roast meats, first courses with red meat or game ragout, medium-aged cheeses.
