Description

Manual harvest in boxes with graduated harvests in the vineyard, with further selection on a manual sorting table. Vinification in steel with cold pre-maceration and overall maceration for 30 days. Maturation for 20 months in barriques, refinement in bottle.

Tasting

Very deep ruby red colour. Broad and typical nose of ripe red fruits, with rich spiciness of black pepper and liquorice, balsamic notes, chocolate and tobacco. Structured and deep sip, with well-present and very soft, evolved tannins of great maturity; the typical acidic freshness of the terroir is not missing; caressing in the finish, with very long persistence in the mouth.

Lamb, grilled red meats, braised meats, game, mature cheeses.
