Groppello Gentile 60%, Barbera 15%, Sangiovese 15%, Marzemino 10%.
Important red wine. The name derives from the founder of the winery, Alessandro Materossi, nicknamed “Don Lisander”. About half of the selected grapes are dried naturally and then vinified traditionally. The already assembled wine matures in small oak barrels for about 15 months, after which it refines in the bottle for at least 9 months.
Intense and brilliant ruby red color. Broad and rich nose, with hints of violets and berries. Dry, round and velvety on the palate, slightly bitter.
