Description

The Frappato di Vittoria grapes are grown at approximately 250 meters above sea level, on red soils with limestone sand. The vineyards are located in the heart of the denomination, between Acate and Vittoria, with vines of an average age of 12 years. The fermentation process takes place takes place between the end of September and the beginning of October. Fermentation occurs spontaneously in concrete tanks, with Native yeasts; the refinement is still carried out in cement, then in the bottle.

Tasting

Pale and brilliant ruby red colour. On the nose it is mineral and very fragrant with Mediterranean scrub, with fruity notes of blood orange. The mouth is fresh and tasty, with a thin body, but of great satisfaction.

Pairings

A perfect red as an aperitif, it goes well with roast chicken, stuffed mussels, stewed octopus.
