Gaja, Barbaresco DOCG

The carefully selected grapes come from 14 estate-owned vineyards located at altitudes between 250 and 330 meters above sea level, with vines averaging 40 years old and cultivated with very low yields. Fermentation, carried out separately for each individual parcel, takes place in steel and wooden containers, and the wine ages for 6 months in barriques and another 18 months in large oak barrels.

Garnet red in color, it has distinct aromas of wild strawberries, rose hips, elderflower, white pepper, cocoa, and licorice; full-bodied and elegant on the palate, with silky tannins and a long, persistent finish.
