Description

From the Furstentum vineyard, already mentioned in 1330 in the inventory of vineyards that belonged to the Basle convent, located on limestone and pebbly soil, with a slope of up to 38%. The manual harvest in boxes, with selection in the vineyard, is divided into several steps and lasts from 4 to 8 weeks. This is followed by pneumatic pressing and fermentation in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature. The refinement continues in steel.

Tasting

Golden in colour, the nose is an explosion of tropical fruits, spices and aromatic herbs. On the palate it is dense, with a good freshness and minerality that perfectly balances the sip, which closes slowly with a lot of persistence.

Pairings

The complexity and sugar content in this wine make it suitable for experimenting with structured dishes with a sweet aftertaste. It can be an excellent choice with fish curry or a roast with dried apricots.
