“Guidalberto” Toscana IGT 2019

The soil characterized by limestone areas rich in stones and marl hosts the vineyards facing south/south-west, at an altitude between 100 and 300 metres. After the vinification phase, the wine rests for 15 months in French (and a small part American) oak barriques. The name of the wine is inspired by Guidalberto della Gherardesca, grandfather of Nicolò Incisa della Rocchetta.

Intense ruby ​​red color. Enveloping aromas of cherry and berries combine with hints of aromatic herbs and dark spices. Elegance and fullness of fruit characterize the sip, with smooth tannins and a gentle freshness that increases its pleasantness. Final of incredible persistence.

Semi-mature or mature cheeses, first and second courses based on red meat or game.
