Johann Pinot Nero Alto Adige DOC, 2023

The selected grapes are fermented in a large wooden barrel where the must remains in contact with the skins for a fortnight. The grape seed cap is regularly and manually pushed downwards in order to best extract the colour and aromas. After malolactic fermentation, the wine rests for one year in 500-litre oak barrels and for 8/10 months in large oak casks.

Intense ruby-red colour; fruity nose of plum and raspberry, fine and balanced palate with good flavour and persistent fruity returns.

Earthy starters, cold meats and cheeses, first courses with game sauces, roast or grilled meats, medium mature cheeses.
