Corvina 40%, Corvinone 40%, Rondinella 15%, Oseleta 5%
The grapes are harvested between mid- and late-September, dried in a humidity-controlled loft for 4 months, followed by soft pressing and slow fermentation for 40-60 days at a controlled temperature of 15-18°C. The wine matures in Slavonian oak barrels for 48 months and then refines in the bottle for at least 12 months.
Intense and clear ruby red color; nose of raspberry, currant, and cherry in alcohol, with notes of violet, almond, tobacco, and balsamic hints; ample and structured on the palate, with dense, soft tannins and a very long, elegant finish.
Stewed red meats, braised meats, game, mature cheeses.
