Description

Selection in the vineyard and subsequently on the sorting belt in the cellar. Destemming, crushing and classic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with pumping over and delestage. Maceration on the skins for 25 days, malolactic fermentation during the following spring in wood. Aging for 24 months in 25hl Slavonian oak barrels and 12 months in Allier oak tonneaux.

Tasting

Garnet red color with bright reflections. Fine and elegant, floral scent of iris and dried rose petals; aromas of raspberry, redcurrant, morello cherry, medicinal herbs and delicate spices. The sip is light, with a subtle tannic texture and finely faceted aromas, which anticipate a very fresh, savory and persistent finish.
