Merlot
The grapes are harvested and selected manually, then delicately destemmed and macerated on the skins for 20 days in conical oak vats without temperature control. In these days the alcoholic fermentation begins and manual punching is carried out three times a day. Subsequently the skins are subjected to soft pressing and the wine is left to mature in barriques for 6 months in contact with the fine lees; followed by maturation in steel barrels for two and a half years. Bottled without filtration, it ages for a minimum of 6 months.
Garnet red colour; broad nose, very complex and characteristic, with hints of berries, cherry jam, raspberry. Very persistent, mineral and harmonious sip.
