Manual harvest in small crates at the end of September; fermentation and maceration for 20/40 days, partly in steel and partly in concrete; a variable percentage depending on the vintage undergoes a passage of 6 months in 25/50hl wooden barrels, followed by maturation in concrete for another 10 months; after assembly and rest in concrete the wine ages for 3 months in the bottle.
Ruby red colour; nose rich in fresh fruit, with mineral and spicy notes; medium-bodied sip, good freshness and flavor, with soft tannins and great persistence.
Ground appetizers, first courses with meat sauces, roast meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses.
