Description

Yield of only 20 hl per hectare. Average aging of 15 years in oak and chestnut barrels, using the Solera method. It is a historic Marsala, as it was made before the arrival of the English and therefore without the use of mistella (must and brandy), but only wine and aging.

Tasting

Complex and intense nose, salty, with notes of caper, dried fruit and walnut husk; enveloping and elegant sip, powerful, acidic and salty, infinite.

Mature cheeses, braised meats, baked turbot, bottarga, oysters.
