Description

The vinification of Monte Calvo takes place in steel and the aging proceeds in 10 hl wooden barrels for approximately 12 months; the wine is then bottled and rests in the winery for about 6 months before being put on the market.

Tasting

Ruby red color with violet reflections, beautiful liveliness; on the nose aromatic herbs, turmeric, iris and a light wild note. The sip is soft and elegant, with the wood perfectly integrated, and reproduces the olfactory notes with an added touch of white pepper; non-invasive tannins, enveloping structure, good persistence.
