Description

Selection of bunches in August and September; the grapes are harvested by hand at the end of September/beginning of October using traditional buckets; a part of the grapes is crushed with stalks and placed in oak vats for spontaneous fermentation together with the destemmed grapes. The maceration on the peels and stems lasts about two weeks; once macerated, the wine is transferred to oak barrels and vats for about ten months and then bottled.

Tasting

Bright ruby red color tending towards garnet; intense and characteristic nose of cherry, violet and light spiciness; harmonious, fine, savory, long sip.

Grilled meats, Tuscan cured meats, medium-aged cheeses.
