Nebbiolo Langhe DOC 2019

It originates from Nebbiolo grapes grown in various parcels scattered around the municipality of Serralunga. We are about 300-400 meters above sea level, and the exposure of the vineyards is towards the south-east and west; the soil is mainly composed of limestone and tuff. The manual harvest takes place slightly late, between the middle and the end of October. The must ferments in steel tanks at a controlled temperature and the wine then matures for 12 months in steel. At the end of this period we proceed with bottling and marketing.

Ruby color, bright, with some garnet nuances. The nose opens on typically varietal notes, where flowers and fruit chase each other in a dance of linear aromas, interspersed, from time to time, with more tertiary touches and balsamic nuances. When tasted, it is medium-bodied, with strong and lively tannins; on the palate there is a savory vein, with good persistence.

Excellent with oven-roasted roasts and red meats, it is perfect paired with fricassee lamb.
