Pinot Nero “Alfero” Asti DOC 2006

After partial destemming, cold maceration (8 °C) is carried out for approximately 3 days: after which it is brought to 26 °C and the yeasts are inoculated. Fermentation and malolactic fermentation carried out in steel, where it refines until bottling the following spring.

Intense and deep ruby ​​red color, slightly tending towards garnet. Complex nose of berries, currants, sour cherries and blackberries, with floral hints of roses, spices, tobacco and vanilla. The palate is balanced, well-worked in the tannic texture, warm and with excellent persistence.

Excellent in combination with first courses with meat sauces, roast pork, boiled beef, sausages and cheeses.
