Pinot Nero “Vigna del Cardinale” Oltrepò Pavese DOC 2016

Meticulous operations are carried out in the field, such as very short pruning and early thinning. The fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand and subjected to careful selection. After a maceration and fermentation of 8/10 days, the passage takes place in carat for the malolactic fermentation and then the passage in French oak for about a year.

Ruby red color with purple reflections. On the nose aromas of undergrowth, blackcurrant and ripe blackberry. Elegant sip, good body and persistence.

Perfect pairing for red meats, game and blue cheeses.
