Description

Harvest of the grapes at the end of September; traditional red vinification with a 12-day maceration at a controlled temperature in steel tanks at around 28°C; after racking, the wine is kept in steel tanks where it undergoes malolactic fermentation. Matured in large 25hl wooden barrels.

Tasting

Intense ruby red colour; fresh and mineral nose, with notes of ripe cherry and balsamic spices; full-bodied and structured sip, savory, soft and with good persistence.

Pairings

First courses with meat sauce, roasts, stews, medium-aged cheeses.
