Roero Riserva DOCG 2019

After careful thinning in the vineyard, the hand-harvested grapes are pressed and left to ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. After racking, the wine is placed in 5hl tonneaux for two years, after which the assembly takes place in steel, where the wine remains for a few months. After bottling it is placed in a room at a constant temperature for a year.

This wine highlights a beautiful garnet red color, which suggests maturity and stability. The nose develops complex aromas of ripe fruit, herbs and balsamic and spicy notes. In the mouth it is full-bodied and harmonious with the right fruit/wood ratio and a finish made pleasantly austere by the tannins.

It is perfect with roast veal, both roasted and spit-roasted game. Ideal with truffle-based dishes and mature cheeses.
