Sangiovese, Merlot
Sangiovese and a very small amount of Merlot undergo semi-carbonic maceration in layers in open vats with two manual punching downs per day for 3 days.
Fresh and mineral nose, with notes of violets, berries, and aromatic herbs; lively and savory on the palate, with a lovely persistence.
Meat-based appetizers, vegetarian dishes, grilled meats, and lightly aged cheeses.
