“Guado al Tasso” Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2013

Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes are selected in two distinct moments, before and after destemming, to ensure that only perfectly ripe grapes reach the fermentation tanks. Individual vineyard plots are divided into many small harvesting plots according to the climatic trend of the year, distinguishing them by the characteristics of the grapes and vinifying them separately. Fermentation and maceration take place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 15 – 20 days. After racking, the wine is transferred to barriques, where malolactic fermentation takes place by the end of the year. In February the best vinified parcels are selected and united. Guado al Tasso is then transferred to new French oak barriques where it remains to refine until bottling.

Intense ruby ​​red color. Precise and vigorous nose, of raspberry and wild strawberry, wild blackberry and strawberry tree, accompanied by notes of laurel and mint. Soft and voluminous sip, with dense and silky tannins. Extremely balanced power and grace.
