100% Sagrantino
Harvesting is done by hand during the first three weeks of October. Fermentation is carried out with skin maceration for a duration of 30-35 days. Ageing in barriques for 6 months, in Slavonian oak casks for 18 months, and bottle ageing for 9 months.
Intense ruby red colour tending towards garnet. The nose is intense and persistent with notes of blackberry and wild berries. Dry and harmonious taste, remarkably structured, warm and elegant.
Savoury first courses, braised or stewed red meats, grilled and roasted meats, game and mature cheeses.
